Travers to be Postmaster General and his emoluments as such, I have the honour to inform Your Lordship that a difficulty has arisen in regard to placing at his disposal the quarters over the Post Office to which he is entitled under the terms of his appointment.
The difficulty finding 2. consisted in accommodation elsewhere for the Treasury. There being no Government offices in any of the Government buildings available, it became evident that premises would have to be rented at a very considerable cost unless some other arrangement could be made.
